The Latest Cast of Dancing with the Stars

Dancing with the Stars has been a staple of reality TV for over 17 seasons—and while the show’s ratings and popularity have had the tendency to ebb and flow throughout the years, it has retained enough popularity to experience frequent season renewals and plenty of internet buzz.

The buzz surrounding Dancing with the Stars is no doubt due to the show’s cast—television and film stars, with the occasional non-media entertainment celebrity, who pair up with a professional dancer and attempt to show off their dancing skills… or lack of skills. Many famous personalities have appeared on the show and the highlight of any reality season is the unveiling of just who will be appearing on the latest Dancing with the Stars. The following is the most well-known stars from the show’s latest season, season 18!

Danica McKellar: The TV actress is best known for her iconic role as Winnie Cooper in The Wonder Years, as well as her popular books aimed at encouraging young women and girls in taking an interest in mathematics; she will be dancing with Valentin Chmerkovskiy, a dancer from the Ukraine who has been with the show since 2010.

Sean Avery: The former NHL player will be teaming up with dancer Karina Smirnoff, well known for her experience with the show and her multiple wins at national and international dancing competitions.

Candance Cameron Bure: The actress, best known for her role on Full House, will be teaming up with Mark Ballas, a ballroom dancer who has been with the show since 2007; Ballas has been nominated for an Emmy Award for ‘OUtstanding Choreography’ and has also released several musical tracks.

Drew Carey: The popular game show host and TV actor, best known for his role hosting Whose Line Is It Anyway and his starring role on the Drew Carey Show, will be teaming up with professional dancer Cheryl Burke.

NeNe Leakes: The reality TV actress, best known for her participation in The Real Housewives of Atlanta, will be dancing with Tony Dovolanti; Dovolanti is a ballroom dancer from Albania who has been with the show since its season.

Other stars appearing on the show’s latest season include Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis, actor James Maslow, professional swimmer Diana Nyad, snowboarder Amy Purdy, singer Cody Simpson, Olympic ice dancer Charlie White and film actor Billy Dee Williams.
