Blindspot TV Show - What’s It All About?

The new TV series Blindspot has recently been released to the public. It was not ordered until just a few months ago on May 1st of 2015. NBC premiered Blindspot on September 21st of this year. The genre of the show is under drama and its developers are Greg Berlanti and Martin Gero. Its country of origin is the United States. The executive producers are Martin Gero, Sarah Schechter, Greg Berlanti, and Mark Pellington. Its a single-camera setup and the running time is 43 minutes. The distributor of Blindspot is Warner Bros. Television Distribution and the production companies are Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros.

The cast for Blindspot is Jaimie Alexander as Jane Doe, the main character, Sullivan Stapleton as Kurt Weller, Ashley Johnson as Patterson, Ukwell Roach as Dr. Borden, Audrey Esparza as Tasha Zapata, Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Bethany Mayfair, and Rob Brown as Edgar Reed.

There is a lot of heavy anticipation surrounding Blindspot especially because the leading actors, Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton are in high demand right now in Hollywood. Jaimie Alexander is well known for her role in Thor and Sullivan Stapleton is known for his part in 300: Rise of an Empire. Greg Berlanti is known as being a prolific writer and producer, and also for producing Arrow, The Flash, and Arrow-Flash. The plotline for the show is also quite compelling.

The series kicks off when a gorgeous naked woman is found in Times Square in a duffel bag. She is no ordinary woman, however, because not only does she have no memory of who she is or how she got there, she is covered in strange, intricate tattoos, which encompass her entire body. What is stranger still is the fact that there is the name of an FBI Agent emblazoned boldly across her back. This agent's name is Kurt Weller. Jane, Kurt Weller, and the rest of the FBI soon come to the realization that every tattoo on her body is a clue to a crime. In order to unravel the mystery of who Jane is they must follow the clues and the crimes.

As of yet there are no reviews about Blindspot, only speculations, countless questions, and a great degree of excitement and waiting. For one thing there is a lot of curiosity about how Jamie and Sullivan will do together on the big screen—if there will be chemistry and how harmonious the two of them will be together. Everyone has high hopes that they will both do exceptionally well in their parts as they are great actors. Jaimie seems to be the ideal fit for Jane who is not just a little lost but also very talented. Sullivan on the other hand will probably be somewhat like the opposite side of the same coin in some regards, as an authority figure who is also very empathetic. Of course, everyone is wondering—is there a romance in the making here?

According to some onlookers one of Blindspot's weaknesses is the very glue that holds the plot together —Jane's tattoos. If someone was so concerned about preventing all of these crimes from happening, why didn't they simply call in and give an anonymous tip instead of going through the time and trouble of tattooing her entire body? That is the largest mystery on the table right now, but it will likely be answered in some form or another as the series moves on.

A lot of people are wondering about the tattoos in a more practical sense, too. Are they real? There are over 200 tattoos across her whole body, and they take approximately seven hours to apply, unless it isn't the full-body version. Jaimie Alexander has to stand for the whole thing without moving. Not only this, Jaimie herself admits that it can be a little uncomfortable as a man does the tattoo section across her chest and there is also a section bellow her waste on her backside. Jaimie does not complain, however, and she is very positive and optimistic about the entire thing. In fact, she loves the intricate designs and says she is constantly noticing new things. The other good news is that the tattoos will last for several days.

There are many unanswered questions, but that is what brings all of the intrigue and fascination home. Who is Jane Doe, and who has done this to her? What kind of a person is she?
